Description
Join us for a fun, family-friendly event at Kansas City Kansas Community College!
The Blue Devil 5K offers something for everyone—walkers, joggers, and runners of all paces are welcome. The Blue Devil 5K will be held rain or shine. However, the race director reserves the right to cancel the event if conditions are deemed unsafe. No refunds will be issued for any reason.
EVENT PARKING:
All participants and spectators should use Parking Lot I for packet pickup and event parking. Parking Lot I is the large lot located off Delaware Street in front of the Campus Childcare Center (Little Leaders) and the Credit Union. There are ample parking spaces available, and this lot remains conveniently close to the Wellness & Fitness Center/Health Professions Building.
For the safety of our runners and walkers, please avoid Parking Lot H near the CEB Building. This lot is located along the 5K course route, and we discourage additional vehicle traffic in that area during the event.

Awards:
The Blue Devil 5K will recognize the top overall male and female finishers, along with age group winners in each division. Every participant who crosses the finish line will receive a finisher’s medal and all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast to celebrate their accomplishment!

Awards will be given to the top overall male, and female finishers and age group awards will be given out to the top male and female finishers in the following age groups:
0-9, 10-15. 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+
Packet Pickup
Packets may be picked up on Friday, May 1st, 2026, from 12pm-7pm at the Wellness and Fitness Center at Kansas City Kansas Community College at 7250 State Avenue in Kansas City, KS and on race morning at the race site beginning at 6:30am.
Day of Event Schedule
6:30am Race Day Registration Opens
7am - 7:59am Music & Warm-Up Festivities at Start Line
8am Start of Blue Devil 5k Fun Run/Walk
8:15am– 10:00am Finish Line Celebration (Complimentary All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast).
10:05am – 10:30am Awards Ceremony
Pancake Breakfast - until 10:30am
