Description
The 2025 Boulder Dash 5K Race is a unique race in Forsyth County, Georgia.
The course winds through an active quarry, offering participants views of the working quarry face, ancient rock deposits, and massive equipment used to process, move and manage the rock. At the finish line, the Martin Marietta Spring Fling awaits, with Exhibitor/Team Tents and lots of fun for racers and spectators alike.
Sponsor generosity combines with race registration fees to make this event a great fundraiser in the Forsyth community.

After the Race
Please plan to stay and enjoy the Martin Marietta Spring Fling immediately following the race!
In addition to many great spring festival activities, race awards will be presented after all finishers have crossed the finish line.
Reserve your Exhibitor or Team Tent* and enjoy these benefits:

Always a favorite at the Spring Fling is the opportunity to check out Martin Marietta Material Company’s mining equipment and learn more about the quarry. You can also:

Race Venue Info
Shuttle will run on a continuous loop to provide transportation for runners and spectators to and from each venue (separate START & FINISH locations)!
We request that ALL race participants and spectators parking at Northside Forsyth enter at the traffic light at Northside Boulevard. Volunteers will direct you to the Women’s Center Parking Lot or to the MOB Parking Lot. See the map for reference (Boulder Dash parking indicated by red shading):
Corporate Challenge
Local companies are encouraged to field teams of employees. What’s a team? A team is made up of 5 or more employees from the same company.
- Teams can train together or just keep each other on schedule. Setting training goals and setting up challenges among the team members add fun to the even before race day.
- Teams can fundraise together, soliciting donations from co-workers not participating and/or requesting corporate matching for their registration fees or collected donations.
- Teams can show company spirit by having shirts and/or hats made for the event and show strength in their numbers on race day.
Of course, individual runners and walkers are also welcome to this 5K run/walk event.
Packet Pick-Up
Early pick-up will be available on April 25th from 11am to 6pm at Lou Sobh Kia in Cumming (1135 Buford Rd, Cumming, GA 30041).
Available on race day starting at 7:00am!
