Description
Brownwood Bike Rally returns for its 19th year! This year, we are fully in-person, and we look forward to rallying with you with tons of races, festivities, and family-friendly activities at Brownwood Park in East Atlanta!
Grab a friend (or several) and ride on down to Brownwood on September 16th for a day of fun and fundraising for East Atlanta Kids Club and our year-round programming for deserving kids, teens, and families.
Schedule of Events
Saturday, September 16, 2023
- 8:00am: On-site Registration Opens
- 9:30am - 12:30pm: Youth Bike Races & Bike Rodeo (ages 5-15 for bicycle races and younger kids to race in Tyke on Trike events)
- 9:30am: Opening Ceremonies & Fun Lap (all ages) - 1 lap around course
- 9:45am: Tyke on Trike Races (ages <5 tricycles, big-wheels, training wheels, strider bikes, etc.)
- 10:00am: Youth Bike Races (ages 5 - 7) - 1 lap around course
- 10:45am: Youth Bike Races (ages 8 - 11) - 1 lap around course
- 11:30am: Youth Bike Races (ages 12 - 15) - 2 laps around course
- 12:15pm: Youth Race Awards
- 12:45pm: Adult Fun Race - Road Only (ages 16 & up, All Skill Levels, All Bikes, Men & Women) - 2 laps around course
- 1:15pm: Adult Race Awards
- Ongoing throughout the day: Kid Fun Zone, Lawn Games, Refreshments, Face Painting, FREE BBQ!
Prizes, Challenges, and Fun
Brownwood Bike Rally is all about family fun and festivities. In addition to prizes for our race winners (and all youth who participate in the bike rodeo), we will also have a BMX demo, a sports and fitness fair, kid fun zone, refreshments, and plenty of recreational activities for the whole family (inflatable, table tennis, pop-a-shot, foosball, giant lawn games, and more!)
