I AM TOUGH RUCKING FOR AMERICA'S FALLEN MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDERS
This April, I will proudly join Tough Ruck Nation to complete a marathon while carrying a weighted rucksack (backpack). Tough Ruck 26.2 Boston is an elite group of 1,000 participants who march to honor America's fallen military & first responders. We carry the names of the Fallen on our rucks to ensure they are NEVER FORGOTTEN. Alongside honoring their legacy, we are raising critical funds to support our Warriors and their families.
The timing of this event is especially meaningful. The ruck takes place the day after the 250th anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord and on the eve of the Boston Marathon. As an Army veteran, I will be carrying far too many names of fallen soldiers, honoring their memory with every step of this march.
The mission that drives us is simple but powerful: as much as our Warriors have sacrificed, they and their loved ones deserve the best care and support in their time of need. Your tax-deductible donation directly provides a lifeline to these brave individuals and their families.
On April 15, 2013, Tough Ruckers were at the finish line of the Boston Marathon and immediately joined first responders in assisting those injured in the horrific bombings. Their selflessness exemplified the best of our Nation’s character.
Today, the Tough Ruck takes place on Patriots’ Day, the weekend before the Boston Marathon, a fitting time to honor those who have served and sacrificed. Tough Ruck is the only ruck march partnered with the Boston Marathon, with finishers earning the official Boston Marathon medal and recognition from the Boston Athletic Association. The Military Friends Foundation proudly serves as the official charity of Tough Ruck Nation.
Your support can make a difference. Let’s ensure that our Warriors and their families receive the care they truly deserve.
