Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. Simply put, Special Kids
helps children
learn to write, speak, and walk every day.
Special Kids offers services to children ages birth to 21 years with a wide range of diagnosis from a simple
developmental delay to children who will need medical support for the rest of their lives.
The therapies offered include physical, occupational, speech, and feeding.
Special Kids also offers a unique nursing program for children who are deemed medically fragile by a physician. The nursing program also includes recreational therapy, a peer-modeling program, and a nutrition program for each child.
Special Kids mission is to serve Jesus Christ by caring for His children, and the organization never turns a
family away for their inability to pay for services. The Murfreesboro-based ministry started with one child in
1998 and has grown to serve over 3,700 children from 18 different counties in middle Tennessee.
