If you cannot make the event, but would still love to donate, please consider donating through my fundraising link: http://runsignup.com/caakellyberger  .Thank YOU for making a difference for Cannonballs for Kayne!

Cannonballs for Kayne, a DIPG research foundation, is committed to families, education and funding research for a cure.

Just two months after turning 17, Kayne Finley learned he had DIPG brain cancer. The #cannonballsforKayne MOVEMENT initially began with the swimming community on social media as an inspiring and fun way for swimmers, friends and family to rally and cheer up Kayne.

Diving right in to community service and philanthropy, Kayne quickly established his foundation and began sharing his faith, raising support and awareness for DIPG and inspiring others before he went to his heavenly home in November 2017.

From May 17 - July 3, 2019 four people will be riding bicycles for 40 days across the country from California to Florida, covering 4,000 miles and connecting families, children's hospitals, swim teams, schools, organizations and churches to educate about brain tumors and uniting for a common cause.

Our goal is to raise $1 MILLION for DIPG research. Researchers believe by uncovering the cure to DIPG, the mystery will be unlocked for many other cancers that cause death, making your participation and contributions very meaningful for affected children and adults.

Brain cancer is now the leading cause of childhood cancer death. DIPG is considered terminal at diagnosis and is the top cause of death from pediatric brain tumors, carrying a poor prognosis with a near 0% chance of survival.

Cannonballs for Kayne strives to improve the lives of those afflicted by a childhood brain cancer diagnosis. It is our belief that each individual can make ripples in the water; together we will MAKE WAVES!
