Dear Family and Friends,
I am attempting my 1st half marathon in 2026. I attempted my 1st 5k last year to raise money for the hospital and cancer research supporting my son, Callen, who was diagnosed June 17, 2025 with a rare undifferentiated luekemia.
Callen passed on December 11, 2025 in the arms of his parents during treatment.
The pain which I, and especially my wife, has felt should not be possible. We must do all we can to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention for children. These innocent happy children do not deserve the worst which cancer gives.
