Supporting Mental Health Awareness at HBCUs
I am proud to participate in this year’s Walk for Mankind in support of a cause that is close to my heart—mental health awareness.
Students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) face unique challenges. While they strive for academic and personal success, many are also navigating the weight of financial pressures, cultural expectations, and limited access to mental health resources. Far too often, these students suffer in silence due to stigma or lack of support.
Your donation helps change that. By giving, you are helping to expand mental health programs, provide access to counseling and wellness services, and create a culture where seeking help is seen as a sign of strength.
Together, we can make a difference. With every step we take at the Walk for Mankind, and every dollar you contribute, we move closer to a future where HBCU students have the resources and support they need to thrive—mentally, emotionally, and academically.
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University prepares students to advance the human condition and facilitate economic growth in North Carolina and beyond by providing a preeminent and diverse educational experience through teaching, research, and scholarly application of knowledge.
100% of your generous donation to the Walk for All Mankind will directly support the student counseling center at NC A&T. Your contribution ensures that NC A&T can provide vital mental health support, resources, and programs to their students, fostering a healthier, more resilient campus community.
Thank you for standing with me in this mission. 💚🩷
