100,000 Reasons Challenge

This fundraiser is very near and dear to my heart. For the last 20 years, I have been dealing with health issues due to a long history of multiple blood clots. I was 16 when I was first affected by blood clots, and it changed the entire direction of my life. I have battled numerous blood clots, both in my legs as well as my lungs since then. I am now currently fighting a disease called CTEPH that is caused by chronic clots in the lungs, and it is now affecting my heart. This challenge not only holds me accountable to move my body more but also brings awareness to the table and helps raise money for research organizations. 

Every year, more than 100,000 lives are lost due to blood clots, often a preventable and treatable condition. The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA), a dedicated nonprofit organization, is working tirelessly to raise awareness, improve prevention, and provide education to save lives.
