CASA of Westmoreland Superhero 5K

This charity 5k benefits CASA of Westmoreland, Inc., a 501 (c ) (3) nonprofit that provides a voice in court for abused and neglected children in Westmoreland County.  Through the work of our volunteers, who speak for the childs' best interest, CASA is a friend of the courts, and we ensure the child's placement into a safe, permanent and loving home as quickly as possible. PRIZES/AWARDS/T-SHIRTS/CAPES

*Race t-shirts will be free to 5K participants who register before August 10, 2015.  After that date, t-shirts will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. 

*Awards will be given to top 5K runners and walkers both male and female.

*Awards for best individual and best group costumes will be given!

*5K Participants who choose to become a fundraiser for CASAand raise $50 or more will earn an adult size Superhero cape!

*All kids age 10 and under who participate in the Kids' 1K Fun Run will receive a child size superhero cape as their prize. 

RACE SCHEDULE                                                                                                                            

9 a.m. Registration

10:30 a.m. 5K Run and Walk timed race

11:30 a.m. Kids’ 1k fun run (Age 10 and under)

12 p.m.  Awards presented to  top runners and walkers and kids’ race, awards for best individual and group costumes.

While not required, we encourage EVERYONE to dress in costume! Show that YOU are a Superhero for the kids in our area!
