The 2018 Cereal City Triathlon is a sprint triathlon that showcases the City of Battle Creek and its amenities. Willard Beach Park will be the site for this high quality multi sport event. There is a sprint distance triathlon and a sprint distance duathlon. Relay teams of all types are also encouraged to participate. Swim 500 meters, Bike 12.4 miles (20K), Run 3.1 miles (5K). This is one of the best courses around for a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, or relay.

This year the Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon is offering both 2 and 3-person relays. Each team member will be able to register and pay individually as well, so no need to worry about who is footing the bill! Grab your fastest friends, your swim team teammates, and your cycling pals and put together a winning relay team!

New this year, ages 18 and under can participate in our "Super Sprint" option which consists of a 400 meter swim, 10K bike, and 3K run.

Each registration includes a t-shirt, finisher's medal, and post-race meal from our awesome food truck!.

Cereal City Kids Triathlon

Cereal City Athletics strives to promote healthy active events for families in our community.  For the second year, the  beneficiary of the Cereal City Triathlon will be the Cereal City Kids Triathlon.  Exposing our youth to fun, challenging activities at an early age can help shape their views of what a healthy lifestyle looks like!  A portion of the proceeds from this event will fund a minimum of 50 registration scholarships to the Cereal City Kids Triathlon.  The more inclusive the Cereal City Kids Triathlon is, the more kids we can reach!  Thanks for your participation!

Duathlon

The duathlon will utilize much of the same course as the triathlon with a 2 mile run, 20K bike, and 5k run to the finish.
