Pedal the Cause

Hey everyone!

It’s pretty simple for me this year.

Last year at this time, I was preparing to ride in support of my mom as she battled cancer. This year, I’m riding to honor her and carry her memory with me. It is almost 10 years since my father lost his battle with pancreatic cancer and I continue to ride in memory of another true fighter.

Cancer has unfortunately touched our family and extended families far more than we ever imagined. It’s heartbreaking. It’s frightening. It’s unfair. And it’s hard.

But Pedal the Cause gives us a way to be part of the fight — to turn some of that heartache into hope and work toward a future where fewer families have to face this reality.

Myself, along with my wife and family, are proud to once again join Pedal the Cause in this fight. It’s more than the region’s largest cancer fundraiser — it’s a movement, a community, and a celebration of courage, all fueled by the hope of one day ending cancer.

You can give with confidence knowing that 100% of every dollar raised goes directly toward lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital — two organizations that have played an incredibly meaningful role in our family’s fight.
