Hi Friends! 

I first learned about this fundraiser when I worked as a Domestic Violence Advocate for the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center.  The National Domestic Violence hotline reports that nearly half of survivors (48%) feared their abuser would harm or kill their pet, making pet safety a critical factor in their escape strategy. The Kindred Souls Foundation partners with Family Justice Center to help rehome animals to better enable victims to leave their abuser.
