☀️ This July, I will be taking part in The Great Bicycle Tour – TGBT XXXVII in support of San Mar Family and Community Services. I’m so excited about supporting a great cause and I need your help!
🚲 You may be wondering, what is The Great Bicycle Tour (TGBT) and why am I riding it? Well, TGBT is an amazing 4-day, 184.5-mile ride along the C&O Canal. It is hosted by a wonderful nonprofit organization, San Mar Family and Community Services, as its major annual fundraiser. I am pumped to join my parents on my first multi-day bike tour and am hoping to get support from my community in making a difference to an organization that provides services through San Mar Treatment Foster Care, the Jack E. Barr Center for Well-Being outpatient mental health services, and the Bester Community of Hope initiative focusing on prevention. You can learn more about their offerings HERE.
✨ There are so many reasons for doing this special ride: to make a difference, a bucket list ride, a challenge, etc. But the most important thing that happens as a result, is that children and families who are facing some tough situations, will be helped and supported.
👨👩👧👦 Would you be willing to help me reach my personal fundraising goal for San Mar as I commit to this challenge? I'm looking to raise at least $525, which is just $2.85/mile along the 184.5 mile route. How many miles would you like to support?
