Support me in the Cambridge 5k and be a Champion for Cambridge Nonprofits and Volunteers!

I am running to support the Cambridge nonprofit community and the volunteers that make their work possible. Earlier this fall, Cambridge Volunteers joined with Cambridge Nonprofit Coalition (CNC) creating one trusted hub for Cambridge's nonprofits and the volunteers who support them. 

From growing up in Cambridge to my work now, I've seen how vital the organizations that we work with are and how important it is to show up for our shared community. Amidst federal changes creating new requirements that cut off community members from their benefits, negatively impacting their food security and physical and mental health, as well as funding cuts affecting all nonprofits, now is an especially important time to show up and engage the full Cambridge area community.

A gift to CNC will make you a part of the community web connecting thousands of volunteers to our incredible Cambridge agencies and providing an array of resources for their leaders and staff. Your support not only helps all local organizations- including the very smallest least resourced- connect with volunteers they cannot reach on their own, but provides access to training and community building opportunities for the staff and leaders at their center.

Together with your help we can strengthen our nonprofits and build an equitable, thriving community. Plus, I'm out of shape and your support will give me motivation to cross that finish line. :)
