As anyone who knows me can attest, service to my community is my jam. As a 28 year member of Kappa Sigma Chapter (Plainville) of Sigma Phi Gamma - whose principles are based in service and friendship, Running a small, free, donation dependent furniture center for those in need, and volunteering at The North Attleboro First Baptist Church Day servicing the AAIC Food and Friends Cafe - I try to see those in my community that are less fortunate than I am. Never have I seen a time of greater need than right now.
There is little that I can do to change the National Politics but there is much I can do to promote helping our friends here in our community. This year, in addition to walking, I will be baking and selling sourdough throughout August and September. 100% of the sales will go to the Friend of the Poor.
