On August 10, 2021 our beautiful one year old baby boy Daniel was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare form of liver cancer.
There is nothing in the world that can prepare you for news like this. There are no words to describe the feeling of hopelessness you feel as you realize there is nothing you can do to protect your child from this evil and vicious disease. All we could do was pray that God would cure Daniel and give him the strength to win this battle.
After months of hospital stays, chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and most of all - God on our side, Daniel is now FOUR years old and cancer free!!!!!! To say that Daniel is the strongest kid we've ever known is a complete understatement! He is as resilient as they come. He is our real life superhero!
