Dash of the Titans Returns September 23, 2023!

Join us for a morning of fun to benefit True North Classical Academy!

True North Classical Academy's 3rd Annual Dash of the Titans is a timed 5K run or "walk and talk" event uniting all Miamians - True North families and avid runners - to celebrate education with more than 1,000 participants.

Don't want to walk or run a 5K? Register for the NEW Sweat & Stretch during the 5K! See below for more details. Following the 5K, we will cheer on True North's Tiny Titans as they dash for the finish line in our Tiny Titans Dash!

The event raises funds that support and sustain our Academies. Enjoy food, music, vendors, games, bounce houses, and more at the Finish Line Celebration! Age-category awards, finisher medals, race t-shirts, and race packets will be available for each registrant.

Sweat & Stretch by BPM Fitness

Introducing an exciting addition to our lineup this year: the invigorating Sweat & Stretch session proudly sponsored and led by BPM Fitness! As your friends and family hit the race course for an exhilarating 5K run/walk, you'll have the perfect opportunity to get your heart pumping and unleash your inner Titan. Embrace the chance to support True North by becoming part of our dynamic equipment-free fitness class. All fitness levels are welcome! 

The best part is that by joining the Sweat & Stretch session, you'll not only treat yourself to a revitalizing workout but also extend your support to True North's vital mission of creating a positive impact on our schools and the lives of our scholars.

Start Time: 7:30 am - 8:15 am

5K Run/Walk and Talk

Join us for the Dash of the Titans 5K at Tropical Park! A timed run/walk race with a certified 5K course, welcoming all ages. Race starts promptly at 7:30 am, so arrive by 7:15 am for the safety of all runners. Participants arriving after 7:45 am cannot join the 5K.

Strollers allowed; line up at the back for safety. No scooters, bikes, or skateboards on the course. Let's conquer the 3.1-mile challenge together!

Tiny Titans Dash

Get ready for the Tiny Titans Dash! Calling all 3 to 10-year-olds to join the fun right after the 5K award ceremony at 9 am. Parents can run alongside 3-4-year-old superstars while others cheer from the exciting Finish Line Celebration! And that's not all - our Tiny Titans can also join the 5K and Sweat & Stretch sessions with a registered adult! Arrive by 7:15 am to ensure everyone's safety and enjoy the pre-Dash festivities with Bounce Houses galore. The track is set for one lap of pure excitement, covering 400 meters. Let's create unforgettable memories together!

Volunteer Opportunties

Volunteers needed! Join us for packet stuffing on September 18 & 19, and race day setup, event assistance, and breakdown. This will include setup, registration, water stations, and passing out medals. Titans can get community service hours (grades 9-12) while still participating in the 5K. Packet Pickup Info

Race packets can be picked up Thursday, September 21 through Friday, September 22, at Go Run Miami (11650 N. Kendall Drive, Miami, FL 33176) from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

If you registered AFTER 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 21st, please pick up your packet on race day from the Tropical Park registration area between 6:00 am and 7:00 am. We need 4 volunteers for packet pickup (adult volunteers only).
