Edmund Fitzgerald Memorial Swim

In July and August 2025, I will be one of 68 swimmers who will participate in a historic 411-mile relay, from Lake Superior to Detroit, symbolically completing the route and cargo delivery of the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald. My 4-person relay will swim a 26-mile segment, from Presque Isle to Alpena in Lake Huron. Thank you for supporting me in this historic, once-in-a-lifetime adventure that will carry on the legacy of the 29 men lost on the Edmund Fitzgerald 50 years ago.  The swim will also be chronicled in a documentary film, The Legend Lives On. By helping me meet my fundraising goal, your tax deductible donation will also help renovate the Whitefish Point Lighthouse that safeguards mariners along Lake Superior's "Shipwreck Coast."
