Description
The Delta Scholarship Fund's 5K Run/Walk is back in person and virtual! By allowing both options, our event will be bigger and better than ever!
Sign up now and invite family, friends and colleagues to do the same to support the Delta Scholarship Fund. Lead a team of runners and compete with other departments or colleagues, all in good spirit, and all for a great cause. If you choose not to participate in the race, consider supporting the Delta Scholarship Fund by donating.
The Delta Care and Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization with two divisions, a Care division and a Scholarship division. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Delta Scholarship Fund. The Delta Scholarship fund provides educational scholarships to worldwide employees of Delta Air Lines and their eligible dependents. In 2023 we'll be awarding 788 scholarships totaling $1.95m thanks to the generosity of Delta employees and our community support.
5K Event Details
When?
Saturday June 10, 2023
- 7:00 am – Registration opens – please bring photo ID for check in.
- 8:00 am – Family Fun Run – 1 mile
- 8:30 am – USATF Certified 5K Course begins!
- 10:00 am – Race closes

Delta Community Credit Union parking lot

Parking is available in the DCCU lot or across the street from the DCCU parking lot.
How much? Not Much!

What does it include? T-Shirt and Medal!
- Register by May 11, 2023 to ensure your selected t-shirt size.
- Bib, t-shirt, and medal will be available on same day as race.
- Race medals will be guaranteed to the first 800 registrants in the 5K and virtual race.
- Race time is a 2024 AJC PEACHTREE ROAD RACE OFFICIAL QUALIFYING EVENT

- GRAND PRIZES: Overall Top male and female for both the person and virtual* race will receive a $300 gift card

Race to 1K
For every $1 donated toward each division, you get 5 steps toward the goal for each division!
To donate for your division, click HERE. Be sure to select your division under Fundraiser! Whichever division raises the most money, their division name will be presented on 1k trophy to say Thank You!
