Help me go to Kenya! There we will get to present research to Kenyan nursing students and work in a free clinic. We have the opportunity to not only learn about healthcare in a different country but help support the people in need. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to start responding to my calling to Healthcare through this immersion in Kenya. I will be able to use my clinical skills to provide care to patients that have decreased access due to a shortage of practitioners and connect with patients, providers, and other students from this region on this life-changing trip.
Ways you can support!
- Financial- Due to the nature of this immersion, this is a very expensive trip. If you feel led to help with the financial burden of this trip, this is the place to do it! I am raising money through our annual Viking Turkey Trot. All money donated here will go directly to the cost of the trip.
- Prayer- Along with 32 of my other classmates, we will be traveling to and from Kenya and spending 12 full days on the ground. I am asking for your prayers as we travel over 18 hours there and as wee adjust and set out on this experience.
