At just 29 years old, my life changed forever in the blink of an eye. I survived a Massive Saddle Pulmonary Embolism, a heart attack, and now live with a chronic blood clotting disorder. My survival was nothing short of a miracle — it was knowledge of the signs and symptoms and strongly advocating for myself that saved my life. (Unfortunately many women are dismissed in the healthcare world-fight for yourself!)
Now, my mission is to share that knowledge with others, empowering survivors and helping save lives. Along with that, I’ve been diagnosed with PTSD due to the trauma, and I am a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and the importance of seeking help.
Your support will help spread awareness, fund critical resources, and ensure survivors have the tools they need to heal. Please join my group today and donate to this cause that is so deeply personal and close to my heart. Together, we can keep life flowing. I invite you to join me in taking part in the 100,000 Reasons Challenge or make a direct donation to support the cause.
Every year, over 100,000 lives are lost to blood clots—many of which are preventable. The National Blood Clot Alliance (NBCA), a dedicated nonprofit organization, is working tirelessly to raise awareness, improve prevention, and provide education to save lives. Your donation to this nonprofit will directly contribute to critical research, education, and outreach efforts that help prevent blood clot-related deaths.
