Welcome to my Avenue 30 Day Challenge fundraiser page. Join Avenue in celebrating of our 30th Anniversary. Since 1991, Avenue has been building community, preserving affordability and creating sustainable homeowners and equitable opportunities in the communities we serve.
Avenue believes in the power of place. We know that home is more than a house or apartment. Home includes the community in which that house or apartment was built. Home includes the neighbors that live not just next door, but down around the block. Home is the school down the street, the store on the corner, the bus stop. We improve our communities to enhance the quality of life of working families, and to promote healthy, vibrant, and economically diverse neighborhoods to ensure Houston’s future as a worldclass city.
In the past 10+ years of working for Avenue, I have helped more than 400 families save their homes from foreclosure, and also provided services for other families whose homes were damaged in Hurricane Ike and Harvey. Avenue has made my work possible.
In celebration of our 30th Anniversary, Avenue has created a physical Challenge fundraising event. For 30 days our team will get active every day in June. Any exercise counts – running, biking, swimming, walking, group classes, or whatever we can think of to get moving.
