I am participating in Ele's Race 5K Run/Walk and raising funds for Ele's Place, a healing center for grieving children, teens, young adults - which provides peer support groups at no cost to families for as long as they need.
This organization has helped several families that I love dearly, after their loss of a loved one. I have also referred several students' families to Ele's Place over the years, after tragic and personal losses.
This is a race I ALWAYS participate in, no matter my life/health circumstances. It's that important to me.
