Rare diseases affect real people—patients, parents, children, and families who often spend years searching for answers. As infusion nurses, we see firsthand the strength and resilience it takes to live with a rare condition, as well as the gaps in care that still exist.
We are walking and fundraising in honor of those patients and families, and in support of the vital work done by the Denise D’Ascenzo Foundation. This cause is deeply meaningful to us, and every donation helps fund research, education, and awareness that can change lives.
