I am Walking for a reason!
Music Together and music based learning has been a part of my life since before I was able to make memories. My mom helped launch Music Together in 1987 shortly after I was born, and today I am able to help share the gift of music with others by serving as the President of the Prelude Music Foundation's Board of Directors. This November, I will be participating in a Walk-A-Thon in order to raise funds for children in low-income communities to attend Music Together classes in their schools!
The Prelude Music Foundation serves approximately 4,000 children in high-poverty communities where families often lack the tools to help support their children's cognitive and academic development. Utilizing the research-based music and movement curriculum Music Together, the Prelude Music Foundation supports the cognitive, academic, and musical development of children during the most formative years of their lives.
