As Neuro-Wellness Manager at Supportive Living Inc. (SLI), I am dedicated to helping remove the barriers to wellness that individuals with disabilities experience on a daily basis. Through SLI's Neuro-Fit Assisted Exercise Class, we are able to provide individualized support to over 80 brain injury survivors every week. Our participants are able to exercise in a safe and accessible environment, socialize with peers, and work towards personalized fitness goals that can mitigate mental or physical limitations.
The overall growth and impact of SLI's Neuro-Wellness programs are directly related to the amount of support that we receive from our community. With generous donations, we are able to provide Neuro-Wellness scholarships, purchase necessary fitness equipment, and keep our facilities accessible to our community members and SLI residents.
