Join our family in making a difference for young children as they battle to keep healthy and strong!
When our son Justin was just 2 years old, he began experiencing leg pain in his right knee and a week later we were told he had Cancer- Leukemia, a blood Cancer. This was the most devastating news our family has ever been faced with, numbing to say the least. He suffered through three years of chemotherapy treatment, he fought for his life every day. At the present day, we are glad to report that Justin has been in remission for 14 years now!
During his treatment years, Casey Cares supported our entire family when we needed it the most. We truly wouldn't have been able to enjoy the small things in life without them providing tickets to places like Disney on Ice, Orioles & Ravens games, pizza & movie tickets. One big surprise of fun, Justin's birthday fell on one of Casey Cares Milestone Birthday celebrations and who did they get to come help celebrate...Batman, yes Batman! What an experience for Justin and his preschool friends. Our entire family was able to create better memories during these difficult times because of the staff at Casey Cares. They have sincerely placed a smile in our hearts forever, especially Justin's.
