Last year was my first time running the Cure to Sarcoma 5K, and I ran in honor of my grandfather. At the time, he was very sick and heartbroken that he was too ill to leave the house to watch me run.
Less than three weeks after the race, my grandfather sadly passed away from sarcoma.
This year, I will be running the 5K again in memory of him. I’ve created a team called “Everyone Loves Raymond”, and I’m inviting all my friends and family to join me. You can run the 5K, do the 1-mile walk, donate, or simply come out to show your support.
I miss my grandfather more than anything, and I know he’ll be with me—and with everyone who joins me—every step of the way. 💛
