Details

Morning Helpers will help:
- setup the various stations at the Start (including check-in, water, 1M & 2M start lines)
- help with check-in (7:30-8:30 am)
- help with start breakdown after the races have started
- help with directing runners and crowd control

Location

Meet in front of First Citizens Bank - 100 S Campbell Station Rd.

Start Area Helper (7-8:30 am) - Racing Medium Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Morning Helpers will help:
- assist in setting up the various stations at the Start (including check-in, water, 1M & 2M start lines)
- assist helper with check-in or shirt hand-off (7:30-8:30 am)
- assist with crowd control and directing traffic

Location

Meet in front of First Citizens Bank - 100 S Campbell Station Rd.

you could either park at the bank (race start) or park near Ingles (race finish) and jog over to the start as warm-up

Finish Area Helper (7-10am) - Not Racing High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Tasks include but not limited to:

- finish area setup
- food & water setup
- awards give-away
- runner traffic through the finish chute and around the finish area
- photography (use our camera)
- finish area breakdown

Turn-around monitor (8:30-9:30am) High Priority

Details

Singular role of making sure all 2M runners make the turnaround. Move the cone/sign to middle for the turn-around and afterwards move the cone/sign to the sign or return to finish/start area, depending on where you parked.

Location

On Kingston Pike, near the intersection of Concord Rd and Kingston Pike. Turn-around will be marked by the timing service.
