Because of social gathering restrictions, this year's race will be a free virtual event. Participants can use the fun run course on Upper Dummerston Rd., which has been extended to 4 miles, or they can run or walk at a location of their choosing any time from June 29 to July 5.
Although there's no entry fee, participants need to register online if you wish to be included in the results. You can submit your time on the RunSignUp results page, just like we've been doing for the fun run series, or you can email your time and info (name, age, hometown) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, participants are encouraged to make a $15 donation to their charity of choice, or purchase a gift card form a local business, either for yourself or as a gift to a “local hero.”
When you register, you'll receive a confirmation email that includes a link where you can print a virtual bib. Participants are encouraged to print their bib, and send a picture after you've finished to the RCR Facebook page.
