This October, the F3 regions below are stepping up in support of organizations on the front line of the battle against human trafficking in their community.
In Des Moines, we are raising funds for Dorothy's House. As a supporter of Dorothy's House, I would like to invite you to partner with us by raising funds for this agency. Dorothy's House is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that provides refuge and restoration for youth who have experienced sexual exploitation or sexual trafficking. Dorothy’s House mission is to provide the victims with shelter, food, private education, counseling, medical care, and, most importantly, love and support. Although slavery was abolished nearly 150 years ago, it is still alive and thriving today, some say more than before. By taking a stand against the modern-day slavery of the commercial sex industry and providing refuge for today’s young survivors, Dorothy's House is fighting for a world without slavery, a cause that they need our help in accomplishing!
