Run The Greenway

The Dulles Greenway has a long history of giving back to the Loudoun community and as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary we are eager to continue our partnerships with organizations that are making significant positive contributions to our community, particularly in this challenging time. We are reaching out to non-profits to extend an invitation to participate in a creative fundraising opportunity as a featured community partner for the first-ever Run the Greenway event.

To make a direct donation: Click on the word "Charity" below and then click on the organization to which you would like to make a donation. Select a donation amount (or enter a custom amount) and indicate to whom you would like the donation to be associated with. Click Continue. 

To contribute to an existing fundraiser: Click on the word "Fundraiser" below and select/search for the person/team whose fundraiser you would to donate to. Select a donation amount (or enter a custom amount) and indicate to whom you would like the donation to be associated with. Click Continue. 

To Create a Peer-to-Peer Individual or Team Fundraiser: If you would like to use this race to raise funds for a local nonprofit - either as an individual or part of a team - here’s how to create your personal fundraising page.

• Click on the word “Fundraiser” below, then click on “Become a Fundraiser”
• Enter your personal data in the fields presented – you can do this now or at a later date. This info can be updated as often as you would like.
• Your page will be populated with a generic fundraising message from the nonprofit you are supporting. Make any desired changes/additions to this message.
• To create or join a team, keep scrolling and follow the prompts to create or join a team.
• If you are ready to make a donation to your fundraiser at this time, select a donation amount (or enter a custom amount) and indicate to whom you would like the donation to be attributed.
• Share your personal fundraising page with your family, friends and coworkers and encourage them to support your fundraiser.
• Click Continue.
