My motivation

My father in law Michael Dvorsky battled Appendix Cancer for 8 years. During his life and battle against cancer he impacted so many peoples lives in a positive way! He also helped establish the acpmp.org for Appendix Cancer Research.

My Grandmother Wanda Damico battled Ovarian Cancer. She passed in 2009 after a hard fought battle but left a legacy and lasting impression on her family, friends and especially her two daughters and grandchildren. When she was alive we would always say she lived her life like a Saint as she was dedicated to the Church.

Looking back on the lives of Pop and Grandma they both lived great lives focusing on their families, the church and caring for others. They both impacted so many peoples lives and provide motivation for me every day to follow in their footsteps to lead my own family now and positively impact others.

I am excited to announce that I have registered to participate in the Erie Duathlon in support of the Erie Cancer Wellness Center.  The Erie Cancer Wellness Center seeks to support and comfort individuals and families who are facing the impact of cancer. The programs offered by ECWC are free of charge to anyone who is living with a cancer diagnosis, who is caring for someone with cancer, has a loved one with cancer or has experienced a cancer related loss.  ECWC welcomes all and strives to nurture and empower people living with cancer through their evidence-based healing classes, programs and services.

While I am training, I am also working on raising critical funds for the Erie Cancer Wellness Center.  Will you please consider supporting me in my quest?
