Help me in supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for Cocodona 2025!
As you may know, I have been running these types of races ever since Beckett turned 1-years old, due to the motivation and drive that he has given me since he was born. This will be the longest distance and toughest challenge to date but pales in comparison to what people with CF endure on a daily basis. There have been huge advancements within the CF world but there is still no cure. Beckett only has one medication that he is eligible to take but he is still required to do multiple breathing treatments a day, take multiple pills, and avoid certain situations that may be dangerous for him, so we still need your help to get to a cure!!
Beckett has been doing great but has had a couple of hospital stays this past year, which are not uncommon in the CF world. He loves playing soccer with his team "Panther City" and he also loves playing Minecraft, Roblox, and enjoys drawing. Looking for fossils, cool rocks, and even bones on our hikes are some of his favorite things to collect. He is a really sweet, funny, creative kid who looks at life through a lens of curiosity that is really fun to watch! He inspires me to be better every day and is the best big brother to Hendrix!
On May 5th, 2025, I will start my trek across the desert with 5 days to complete the 250-mile distance. I will have a support crew which will be made up of family and friends, so this is most certainly a team effort. I may be the one running but I could not do this without a support system and you all are a part of that too. I appreciate you coming to my page and reading a little bit about our story but I will add more soon!
For the Cocodona 250, I've agreed to raise money to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This cause is important to me because my 8-year-old son has CF, and I will not stop raising money and awareness until we find a cure for all people with CF... A donation of any size will help get me across the finish line, can I count on your support?
