Fred's Story

We are walking in memory of Fred Dunhour — a man whose life embodied love, joy, and strength. Fred faced his diagnosis of brain cancer with unwavering courage and grace. Though glioblastoma took him from us far too soon, it could never take away the laughter he shared, the warmth he gave, and the countless memories we hold close.

Fred was fun, genuine, and athletic. He loved deeply and lived fully, inspiring everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His determination and positivity, even in the face of the hardest battle, continue to remind us to live with purpose and love without hesitation.

We miss him every single day. And in his honor, we’re walking to raise funds that will go directly toward research, treatments, and ultimately a cure for glioblastoma. All funds raised through this year's Inlet Walk will support groundbreaking research led by Dr. Jay Storm and the team at the Center for Data Driven Discovery in Biomedicine (D3b). No family should have to endure what ours has, and together, we can help fuel hope for better outcomes and brighter futures.

Why This Matters
Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer, with limited treatment options and devastating outcomes. But research is making progress, and your support can accelerate breakthroughs that change lives. Together, we can turn our grief into action and ensure Fred’s legacy is one of hope and healing.
