The Green Day Gallop

**** All races may be icy and snowy as this race is held in March in Alaska. PLEASE BE PREPARED with proper gear (which may include: hat, gloves, hand/toe warmers, cleats or spikes for your shoes, extra layers, extra nutrition & hydration)  Bring Self Defense or Bear Spray as occasionaly you may see moose and other wildlife on the course - especially along the bike path on Old Glenn!

5K

5 K Route
Runners start at the depot and take S Churcach St and connect with Outer Springer Lp and the connections with Inner Springer Loop. Eventually making their way to cope industrial way and back to the depot!

HALF MARATHON

(map is slightly off- runners will complete 2 loops of Outer Springer Loop and the connections with Inner Springer Loop. They will then go back through town towards evergreen Ave and Airport Rd and then making their way back towards the Palmer Depot.

Half Marathon Runners will Start at the Palmer Depot and run towards Outer Springer Loop and its connections with Inner Springer loop they will complete this loop twice. Then runners will make their way to evergreen Ave and Airport Rd and eventually connecting with the bike path that follows E Artic Ave. Runners will take the bike path that takes them back to the Palmer Depot for the finish!

FULL MARATHON

Full Marathon- Starting at the Palmer Depot and running towards Outer Springer Loop and its connections with Inner Springer loop, runners will complete this loop 2 time. Then runners will make their way to evergreen Ave and Airport Rd and eventually connecting with the bike path that follows E Artic Ave and Old Glen Highway. Runners will take the bike path 6+ mile before the turn around point. Then runners will take the bike path back and connect at the Palmer Depot for the finish!
