I’m inspired to participate in the Tunnel to Towers Run because service and community are at the core of who I am. In my job, I work alongside first responders every day, including many who were there on 9/11, and colleagues who were just down the street that day. Their stories, resilience, and commitment remind me that the legacy of service is not just history—it lives on in the people I’m honored to work with daily. Running this race is my way of honoring them, remembering those we lost, and continuing the spirit of unity that defines New York.
