Dear Friends and Family,
On Saturday, May 3rd, our 5th-grade class will gather at The Neathermead in Prospect Park with their scooters, bikes, skates, and skateboards in tow to participate in our annual Scootathon, a fundraiser and celebration to support our beloved Brooklyn Waldorf School and honor the arrival of Spring. Scootathon challenges Grades 5 - 8 and adults to try their best to complete six laps on the "Big Loop" in Prospect Park (a half marathon, 13.5 miles).
We would be thrilled if you would sponsor us! All funds will go toward Brooklyn Waldorf School, a truly special independent school that is helping us grow into compassionate, creative, independent thinkers. Funds raised help pay teachers, offer financial aid to the many families who need it, enrich student programs, and support the care and preservation of our beautiful historic building.
All sponsorships, regardless of amount, will be greatly appreciated. Every little bit counts.
