Story

In an effort to help find a cure for Alzheimer's disease, over the past seven years we have raised over $1.27 million for the two causes below:

FINDING A CURE:

JYM is deeply honored to support Cure Alzheimer's Fund (CureAlz) - a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research with the highest probability of preventing, slowing or reversing Alzheimer's disease. We are proud to have 80% of our race proceeds help support the work that shows the most promise to help end this devasting disease.

HELPING FAMILIES IN NEED:

In 2017, we established the JYM Caregiver Fund to provide annual grants for caregivers coping with the stress and uncertainty of having a loved one suffer from this disease. Through an application process, caregivers can receive grant funds to support such needs as respite care or other financial assistance. With 20% of our race proceeds designated to the JYM Caregiver Fund, we hope we can provide immediate support to those in our community who have been impacted by this disease.
