I'm exactly one month late in starting my annual birthday fundraiser, but I hope you'll forgive me-- I turned 40, so the brain does different things now, right? ;)
I am asking for your support of Julie Valentine Center in celebration of my 40th birthday. This year, JVC turns 50, it's our 16th Annual Julie Valentine Center Run2Overcome 5k/10K and I'd love to see lots of support from my friends for this cause. I'm asking folks to donate in one of these increments:
$16, for 16 years of R2O
$40, for my 40th birthday
$50, for JVC's 50th birthday

Julie Valentine Center provides free and confidential services to those impacted by sexual violence in our community. We serve children and adults, providing a range of services from advocacy, medicals, investigative support through forensic interview, community prevention/education initiatives, and therapy for survivors of all ages. Did I mention those services are free? We can do that because of the generous support of our local community. I would love, for my 40th birthday, to see my friends give toward this important work.
Julie Valentine Center's mission is to stop sexual violence and child abuse and the impact of these crimes through prevention, investigation, collaboration, treatment, and advocacy. Your support helps ensure Julie Valentine Center is able to continue to provide free, confidential services to sexual assault and child abuse survivors in our community.
