Description
Hawk Walk: Celebration of Recovery is a self-timed 3K or 5K walk/run held at Fort Harrison State Park in Indianapolis Indiana. Expect some hills. Much of the trail is tree-covered.

Why Hawk Walk
The 24 Group founding board members Marissa and Kim Manlove lost their son David when he succumbed to his struggles with addiction at the age of 16. The Manloves chose the symbol of a hawk as a reminder of their son. In Native American culture, hawks are considered messengers that soar between heaven and earth; they help to open our eyes to a vision of a better and brighter future. Hawk Walk: Celebration of Recovery is David's message of hope for a brighter future for those struggling with the disease of addiction
