Woo! Hoo! I’m Dr. Tselane Gardner ~ a survivor, healer, and advocate. My life was nearly taken three times due to violent crimes. As a child and young adult, I endured abuse and deep trauma. I remember crying out for help one morning, begging neighbors to call 911. They stood frozen. No one came. I survived ~ but many don’t. That’s why I walk. For the “Little Tez’s” ~ my childhood nickname, and every voiceless survivor still waiting to be seen, heard, and healed. In 2008, I met Patricia Wenskunas, founder of Crime Survivors Inc., while studying at UC Irvine. She inspired me then, and in 2025, she honored me at the Healing Hearts Gala. Now, I lead the Healing in Motion 5K Team ~ a movement of compassion, advocacy, and healing. When you support or join our team, you’re not just walking...
