Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) is the most common genetic cardiac disorder; 1 in 250 Americans (approximately 1.3 million) are at risk for HCM. In HCM, the heart muscle thickens, forcing the heart to contract more vigorously, impairing relaxation, and stiffening the walls.
I am fundraising for the Bighearted 5K, to support the HCMA as the pre-eminent organization improving the lives of those with thick heart muscle disorders, preventing untimely deaths, and advancing global understanding.
Please help me keep families whole, one step at a time!
