Description
Head Injury Treatment Corp 501(c)(3) is launching its Inaugural H.I.T. Corp Relays Presented by Plasticity Brain Centers in celebration of National Concussion Awareness Day and its One Year Anniversary. The 5k Relay Race will consist of teams of three, with each participant running a little over one mile. There will be both a competitive and non-competitive division, with prizes for each.
The Grand Prize will be awarded to the team that raises the most money on their team's personal fundraising page.
Additional prizes will be awarded for First and Second Place for each of the following categories:
Competitive Division:
1. All male team
2. All female team
3. Co-ed team (must have at least one member of the opposite sex on the team)
Non-Competitive Division:
1. Team with the highest combined age
2. Team with the youngest combined age
3. Team with the most H.I.T. Corp-related spirit
Register by September 10th to guarantee shirts and swag bags. The race will take place at Anchor Park in Delray Beach, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Registration will start at 6:00 a.m.
Participants can enter as one of the following:
1. Team of three ($120 total)
2. Team of two ($90 total)
3. Solo entry ($50 total)
If you enter as a solo runner or a team of two, you will automatically be teamed up with additional members to complete your team of three (the required amount to participate in the relay race) and will be entered into the non-competitive division.
Head Injury Treatment Corp (H.I.T.) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization seeking to help open the doors to an improved quality of life for those who suffer from Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS), and increase awareness about the “invisible injury.”
