Holistic Health & Healing Center has supported individuals and families through every stage of life since 2011, offering care for psychological, developmental, neurological, and trauma-related challenges. Founder Tara Paine, LCSW, was inspired to become a social worker after losing her mother to cancer in 2002. Her meaningful experience with hospice care allowed her to grieve in a supportive environment and inspired her to help others through life’s most difficult moments.
Tara opened her practice with a vision of providing safe, solution-focused therapy and Neurofeedback. As her client base grew, so did her mission—to create a healing space where people feel supported and empowered. By 2015, a team of diverse clinicians joined her, formally establishing Holistic Health & Healing Center and expanding its commitment to whole-person, mind-body wellness.
Today, the practice has three locations and a team of over 25 clinicians dedicated to serving the community. Learn more at www.hhhcenter.com.

The organization offers inpatient hospice care at its 52-bed waterfront hospital in Branford, CT, as well as home-based hospice and palliative care services for patients in private homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. Services include pain management, medical care from board-certified physicians and APRNs, emotional and spiritual support, bereavement counseling, social work, respite care, and expressive arts therapies.
Connecticut Hospice operates on a flexible care model, allowing patients to transition between home and inpatient care as needed. As a nonprofit, it relies on donations to support its customized services beyond what insurance covers.
