Help Us Find a Cure for Uveal Melanoma!

                                                                                                                                  

 Uveal Melanoma is a rare cancer of the eye, in the United States alone approximately 1,700 people are diagnosed each year. When uveal melanoma becomes metastatic (typically metastasizes to the liver first) almost all patients die within one year.  As of right now, there is neither a therapy that bears sufficient evidence for a prophylactic effect nor a therapy that can reduce the mortality rate. Research on Uveal Melanoma is extremely important to help us better identify who is at risk for developing the disease and how best to treat it when it occurs. Please join us on the cure to Uveal Melanoma!
