Join us for the 1st annual Hustle For Heroes 5K on April 13, 2024, hosted by the CSU Physical Therapy department. We promise this will be an event you do not want to miss!

The Hustle for Heroes 5K is a family oriented event that consists of a run through CSU campus/trails that will end in the football stadium. A children's fun run will take place in the stadium that morning as well. There will be local vendors with give-away, kids activities, and food trucks. All proceeds for this event will benefit WarriorWOD.

WarriorWOD is committed to healing veterans' invisible wounds through a holistic approach that emphasizes exercise, nutrition, and mentorship. We are excited to support these veterans in their recovery from Post-Traumatic Stress and other challenges by investing in their future and empowering them to thrive. 

The Hustle for Heroes 5k invites runners, walkers, rollers (baby strollers and wheelchairs), and sponsors to raise funds to help support our beloved veterans. Register now to secure your early bird discount!

WEATHER

This is a rain or shine event! Remember to dress for the weather the day of! Please check this space for updates in case of inclement weather conditions.

REFUND POLICY

Kindly note that all registration fees are non-refundable.

PARKING

Parking for racers will be FREE.  All race participants will be directed where to park upon arriving for the race. 

WATER STATION

There will be two water stations on the course.  One will be at the 1.5 mile marker and the other will be at the finish line. **Please contact us if you are looking for a volunteer opportunity.**

STROLLERS/ WALKERS

Strollers are allowed on the race course, we just ask that you line up near the end for your safety and the safety of other participants. Thank you for your understanding. Please note that this course includes a trail run and strollers must be durable enough to handle these conditions. Kids are welcome and will have activity stations available before, during, anf after the race.

T-SHIRT PICK UP

T-shirts will be available for pick up with your packet the day before or day of the race. We recommend coming early to avoid any lines.

ITINERARY

Opening ceremony will begin at 8a and race will follow immediately after. A variety of vendors will be available post race as well as free screening by our DPT students. Kids activity stations available before, during, and after the race so bring them all! Awards ceremony will begin around 9:30a. Medals will be given to 1st place female and male in each age group. Participation ribbons will be given out for the kids fun run.
