Woof! I’m Pfeffer, Inky’s brother. Our journey started with a tough beginning, but when Inky was rescued from East Texas Cocker Spaniel at just 3 months old, he found his way to a loving home where he became a very special hearing ear dog. For over 9 years, Inky has been my steadfast friend and a guiding light with his calm nature and impressive skills. But in December 2022, Inky began limping and was diagnosed with a malignant soft tissue sarcoma in his leg. The news was really hard to take, and the cost of treatment seemed like a mountain to climb. That’s when our oncologist suggested we reach out to Dogslife. Thanks to Dogslife’s generous grant, Inky was able to continue his important work as a service dog. Their support was a lifeline, keeping him healthy and by my side as he continued to help. Dogslife is a pawsome organization dedicated to making life better for dogs in need and their families. Their grants and support ensure that dogs like Inky, who face serious health challenges, get the care they need to keep spreading joy and support.
