One of my favorite nonprofits Abundant Grace is having a fun run fundraiser on my birthday this year and so I signed up!
I’ve been actively involved with Abundant Grace Coastside Worker for over five years and have seen firsthand the difference their programs make in helping our local homeless community transform their lives through employment, housing, food security and physical and mental health.
Abundant Grace serves the local coastal homeless community by offering meaningful employment through job readiness opportunities. These work opportunities include learning agricultural skills at a local organic farm and giving away tons of fresh produce to low-income families; as well as environmental clean-up projects at beaches, trails, and creeks.
In the spirit of “abundance,” I am inviting my friends, family, and supporters to join a cause that is close to my heart.
Any amount helps, and every donation is welcomed with gratitude.
